pss. My son won a literary quiz at high school yesterday for being the only one who knew the names of Donald Duck’s nephews! I was proud. I said “did you ask the quiz master if he knew what color cap each nephew wore?” I bet he didn’t but we know. Hey!! We all know something!!

And has it really come to children not knowing the names of Donald Duck’s nephews anymore!?!?!? It’s been over 2 decades since Duck Tales (my generation’s best exposure to the Donald Duck universe) was on the air, and I still know their names… and going off the top of my head, I believe Huey wore red, Dewey wore blue, and Louie wore green. YAY to your son for being educated on the things that matter!!!

He was also the only one who gave Shakespeare his William when asked “who wrote Romeo and Juliette!” You are correct about the nephew ducks caps and at the risk of sounding like a “smartypants” Dewey was seen to occasionally wear yellow instead of blue, but blue would be the acceptable answer.
I didn’t know that about Dewey! I guess he must’ve been the favorite, and Uncle Scrooge cut loose with an extra birthday outfit for him!
Oh, and Buster’s reprehensible behavior will definitely be noted on his next performance evaluation. I don’t think he’ll be getting that raise again….
