Evil Squirrel’s Nest is a blog dedicated to my cute little critter creations, Evil Squirrel and his buddies. ES was created by me, Bill Brown… overnight stocker by night, drawer of wacked out cuteness by day.
What will you find here at The Nest? Well, obviously my artwork, which is interspersed into pretty much all of my posts. The main subjects I often depict can be found in a page titled “Meet the Gang” under my header, with a brief description of each critter. There is my weekly comic strip featuring my characters, which began on May 3, 2012 and has been published here every Thursday since then. There are lots of squirrel pictures, especially on Saturdays, a day I have dedicated to pictures of real, live squirrels which I have taken over the years with my award winning shitty photography. There’s also a lot of posts on just whatever I feel like expounding about. There’s something here for everyone, and I hope you enjoy browsing about The Nest!

Had to think a bit before remembering my latest post said “we scattered like squirrels” in reference to how we used to be a flurry of activity “uptah camp” between May and September. Now we are here year-round, living with the squirrels!! Red ones, who yell at us like trespassers in our own yard. (I do write about those, real squirrels, too…hope you enjoy those posts as well. Little did I realize what I would conjure when I wrote about my thoughts on squirrels as I was deeply contemplating the meaning of life. Thanks for the levity and thanks for liking my post. I have great respect for comic strip artists (one of my husband’s mediums also) and will enjoy exploring the nest.

Interesting to find out ways that random people come across my blog. Who would have thought that a throw-away line about “mentally deficient squirrels” would do the trick? Glad it did though! Your squirrel related posts could fill the “furry animal comic” void left behind when the Achewood guy stopped posting stuff (with anything resembling regularity).
