Yay, Bat Boy! He used to be my Halloween avatar for another site but nobody knew who he was.

  2. cool way to reduce waste :o) btw: Chilleh is sold out?

  3. Ally Bean says:

    Brilliant. Very true.

    • Indeed! In fact, the idea occurred to me at work Friday night when I bought a can of Pringles for lunch, and it hit me just how needlessly long the receipt was. And this is common everywhere now! Less paper at the register means more paper for the restrooms!

  4. I was confounded by their “environmentally friendly” policies when I quit back in 2008. “We switched to email to save paper!!!” “Wait, you hafta print all the emails and keep them for record retention.”

    Losers.

  5. Thank you. I am grateful to know that I am not the only one who wonders how come my receipt for a container of half-and-half is a foot and a half long. You said it all.

I remember long ago back in the 1980s working in high tech in Israel when my boss said “Floppy disks are floppy (and they were, then). Make hard copies.” I think we use MORE paper now … and all of it gets tossed in the trash.

    • You’re probably right. You just made me realize that my tendency towards digital art makes me environmentally friendly! Especially since I very rarely print out hard copies…

I have good memories of those old floppy disks in grade school… some of my favorite computer games were on those big, flexible things!

  6. Possums on a Roll! I can’t stop laughing. Oh my goodness. Really.

    More from Evil Squirrel’s Nest…
If this won’t make you THINK it WILL make you LAUGH for the rest of the day.

And if you aren’t following Evil Squirrel’s Nest yet you ought to be.

  8. Possums on a roll caught my attention. Nothing at all to do with your shameless product placement, of course!!

  9. draliman says:

    Ha ha 🙂
I like the sound of Possums on a Roll TP. Not as cute as puppies, though.

  10. gentlestitches says:

Haha!! So very true. Wow!!! RainbowDUnicorn sure gets around!!! 😀

Today I tried to buy something at Rite Aid. I didn’t have (OMG!!) my Rite Aid Wellness cards, so the cashier refused to give me the discounts on their overpriced products. I think I got a bit loud. This reminded me of the incident because the reason they insist on the “wellness card” is so they can use my statistics for data mining!
    P.S. I got my discounts.

    • Ha! That figures… I always knew there was something crooked about those drug store discount cards. I was wondering why this comic suddenly got another shot of Likes…. thanks for the reblog!
