  1. NotAPunkRocker says:

    So, Scratchy is hostile?

Seriously, very well done and said.

  2. Ally Bean says:

    Good message. Nicely done.

  3. Mental Mama says:

As someone who grew up around guns and learned to shoot at a young age, I approve this message. Too many idiots get access to a firearm and then wreak havoc on innocent critters, and that’s just not right.

    • Thank you!

For the record (to anyone reading this) I am neither pro nor anti gun… I am just anti idiot, and I get so sick of the delusion that guns in the hands of good guys only hurt or kill bad guys, not other good guys. And all the training in the world isn’t going to change that one bit…

  4. The Cutter says:

This sounds suspiciously like you’re encouraging Obama to come and take away my guns!

  5. You know, so many people don’t think about that sort of thing when they’re after a gun licence. And yet, if someone answers the question “why do you want a gun” with “to shoot people before they shoot me in a hostile situation” they automatically get turned down (at least, according to the American TV I’ve watched, anyway)…

    • That probably depends on the state. There are some states not too far removed from the Wild West era, where the only purpose of having a gun is for exactly that situation. And I’m not sure nobody who gets a gun doesn’t necessarily think about the possibilty that someone innocent could get hurt…. they just dismiss it as an impossibility at their “skilled hands”… kinda like how everyone thinks they can drive home safely after just a few drinks because they are completely in control, at least until they finally hit someone head on and it’s too late to realize they are indeed fallible…

  6. good message! I wish this guys who play war here would understand too… but I’m not sure if they can read :o(

  7. draliman says:

A message in the cartoon! Nice.
I see Buster didn’t get off so easily, and the copyright squirrel seems to have been somewhat splattered 🙂

  8. Scout Paget says:

I didn’t even look at Blaze, I was worried about Sparkle Pony! 😱

  9. Your point is so well made and hopefully, equally well-taken. You may be tomorrow’s reblog o’the day. Couldn’t have said it better myself. And since you’ve already said it …

  10. I love your shop! I just popped over. Groovy and very kewl 🙂

    • Thanks again! I wish I committed the time to actually keeping it fresh and up to date (Most of the designs over there are over two years old, and my characters have changed so much in that time), but eh, it’s something I can call my own anyway!

  11. Even the shooting range has rainbows. I love it! A great message in this one. Kudos!

  12. Hey there! I used to follow you last year, but life got crazy and I fell out of the blogging scene. But I’m baaaaack! And I’d love to keep in touch and comment share on blog posts! If you get a chance, stop by my blog and say hi! http://www.domesticgeekgirl.com

  13. Great art, great message. Buster is a tough critter. Must be from Dinkum island! 😀

  14. Reblogged this on SERENDIPITY and commented:
A subtle (maybe not so subtle?) comment on guns in the world and a great comic. If you haven’t yet met the Evil Squirrel’s Nest, please allow me to introduce you!
