Happy New Year. I hope the little guy defrosts before spring. I’m still laughing. You know, every years some yo yo does exactly this on some pond or river. They never learn. Stupid goes all the way to the bone.
Yes… the lesson here is to always find a possum to test the ice for you before you go skating!

Okay, am I just missing something or have you discontinued the Rainbow Donkey cameos? I did, however, notice Wiki’s tattoo for the first time…
Put on the cheaters and look a little closer at panel 4… he is certainly there in spirit.
Given your eye, I’m surprised you just noticed Wiki’s tat! It’s one of my favorites to draw, I just gotta make sure I remember to color in the head since it gets left out when I use the fill tool for his body (I think there may be a comic in the past where I forgot to do this in a panel)…
And I just noticed that one of the “Related” comics linked to at the bottom is Wiki’s debut, #39!

Possums go where angels fear to tread. Buster’s New Years resolutions to lose weight and stop getting killed didn’t even make it through the first day…
Haha…Most don’t make it through the first second. I’ve never once seen anyone who made the resolution to lose weight say, “Water for me for the champagne toast. My resolution for this year is to lose weight…the alcohol in that champagne has 7 calories per gram.”

Yes, if your possum frog makes it to the end of the game intact, you lose. It’s a lot harder than it looks…

That was hilarious! Except the part where Rainbow Donkey rises from the dead and haunts them all in spirit form. That made me sad.

As long as it’s just his ancestors and not RD himself… then yes, I approve. Very pretty. You know if you really killed RD, your fans would rise up and revolt. I don’t know quite how that would work. A lot of frowny faces I guess.
You just made me go back and look at all 140 of my comics to see how I’ve treated RD over the years! While he’s certainly had a lot better luck than Buster, I found a few instances where my donkicorn did not come out too well. I’ve hogtied him, run him through a meat grinder, hung his head on the wall, thrown him in a cage, set his tail on fire…. oh wait, you want me to stop! 😉
Needless to say, as wonderful as RD is, he’s just like the rest of my hapless characters at The Nest… and I wouldn’t want it any other way!
Rainbow Donkey’s invisibility cloak is wearing out, he was sort of visible there!
I wonder why they don’t make Buster ice lollies? 😉

Aww my poor Buster !! left there to freeze until spring ! I expected Buster’s new year resolve would be not to run into ice, fire or cars 😀

That’s true… they could have spared Buster the frostbite by just noticing how the ice wasn’t holding that little squirrel. Then again, I must torture the possum any chance I get!
