  1. arrrgh… possums! But now I know why my cousin acted the same way once… she is a possum, ha! (my aunt gave her a bitchslap, maybe it helps your possum too?)

  2. Ally Bean says:

Lack of gratitude is endemic in our society. And now, possums, too? Whatever is to become of us all if a handmade birthday card is of no value to any person or critter? *sigh*

  3. draliman says:

    Well, there’s gratitude for you!
Love the chibi (or chibeh) Rainbow Donkey 🙂

  4. Trisha says:

If I didn’t know any better, I would think you had modeled Buster after the youngest of my spawn. His behavior when he gets cards without money makes me want to bitchslap him!

  5. NotAPunkRocker says:

Rainbow Donkey is chibi-ized now? Cool! 😀

  6. JED says:

See everyone says it’s the thought that counts but it’s a lot easier to count money. Poor possum got nothing to count!

  7. Hottie slurps her envelopes shut. Haha. Of course she does.

  8. I think it’s possible Buster is a relative of mine.

  9. Mental Mama says:

That’s our Buster, always the little asshole. 🙂

  10. gentlestitches says:

What an ungrateful little poop! HahaHa. 😀

  11. In the UK, it’s technically illegal to send cash through the mail. Also, when it’s scanned, the metal strip in the paper money can be picked up by Royal Mail’s scanners. I’m guessing it’s the same in the USA. So if you are going to send money, include a sheet of aluminum foil with it, to confuse the scanners!

    • Sending cash through the mail is highly discouraged here, but so far as I know, not actually illegal. Our one dollar bills have no security features in them at all, and I’m not sure if the strips embedded within the higher denominations are metal or not. They don’t appear to have any metallic properties, but without cutting one open, I can’t say for sure…

I recall in one of my grade school years, they set each of us up with a pen pal from the UK. I believe in the few items of correspondence we sent each other before getting totally bored with it, we swapped coins from each other’s countries.

      • Some people are good at the pen pal thing. I’m not one of them either! Good thing the UK never took up the Euro, if you still have those coins they may still be legal, unless they’re 5p, 10p or 50p coins, as those have been resized and reissued in stages over the last 25 years or so.
