  1. hahahahah…good one… seems Bernard imported the water from our village-waterhole… it has more ingredients than a gumbo :o) and I like your unhappy hour, two douchepitchers for the price of 3… that’s a bargain, right?

    • I’m enjoying a glass of tap gumbo as I type this… hopefully it won’t intoxicate me too much to not be able to drive home in a bit. If douchepitchers cost negative money, which they should, then it would absolutely be a bargain!

  2. draliman says:

Two for the price of three certainly does seem like “unhappy hour” 🙂
Sorry to hear that the critters’ tap water is a “bit dodgy”!

  3. Redefining strong drink. I now, for a reblog …

  4. Reblogged this on SERENDIPITY and commented:
Redefining strong drink … This is funny. Except maybe not haha funny. A different kind of funny.

  5. Mental Mama says:

Two for the price of three, now there’s a deal!

  6. Trisha says:

Poor Buster, he just can’t catch a break. If that tap water is anything like ours, he’s sure to be a dehydrated carcass on the side of the road by the end of the day.

    • A lot of animals in the state of Missouri must have been drinking that water then, because I-70 from St. Louis to Kansas City is completely littered with roadkill in both directions. There may not be a wild animal still alive in the state…

  7. I’ve heard of those drinks. They’re cheap but potent. News has it that in some lucky towns you can even make a “flaming tap water” right out of the faucet!

    • Our water can get notoriously nasty… especially if the river runs low. But I don’t go for the bottled water racket, so I continue to drink it. I think it may be the cause of my kidney stone curse…

  8. OMG! Too funny. Also what did Dewey defeat Huey and Louie in? Unhappy hour. Reminds me of a cruise I went on and people were sobbing during “happy hour” Flaming tap water??? 😦

  9. reocochran says:

Did you see you were on.my list of longtime friends? Have a great Memorial weekend!

  10. You should see the water in the trough for the donkeys. Right now, it’s definitely better described as “soup with added extras”!
