I love it. It reminds me of the “rain out” scene in “Bull Durham.” Sometimes, it rains 🙂 More often when you control the water!

I like how you added Cathouse Pizza to the scoreboard. And, I was wondering, what product “wipe with possums” is advertising? My eyes aren’t good enough to see it. I find all those little extras so amusing!
He an make it rain anywhere… but good luck prying him away from The Nest’s team. They need the rainouts. I’ve been waiting for the perfect opportunity to work Cathouse Pizza into a comic, and those annoying ballpark ads gave me the perfect chance. I’ve saved the graphic, so it just may turn up again sometime!
What we know in the US as Cottonelle with the cute little puppies on the package is called Andrex Puppies on a Roll in the UK, as was brought to my attention by Draliman. That is the cutest name for toilet paper ever… not to mention the very notion of wiping with puppies! For one of my comics last year, I used a gag of adding different characters of mine to the package, and Possums on a Roll has stuck as one of my occasional throw-in-gags…
Ah, Possums on a Roll! That’s hilarious! The thought of trying to wipe with a possum is terrifying though. 🙂 thanks for telling me the backstory.
I have sat through 4 games played by grandson in rain. I am enjoying a rain free evening, E.S. 🙂 My grandson caught a long thrown ball (yeah, I am not an athletic words girl ) and it meant three runners on bases were out. Hope you and all, are well and dry today.
I think it’s only rained once in the past week and a half, which is practically like a drought to us this year. I’m enjoying the dry time!

They must have found enough money for some advertisements. Everyone should wipe with plushy soft possums!
