  1. seems that’s the Kingdom Hospital from Mr. Kings novel LOL… btw: my momma placed her phone in the used chileeh box, she had no clue for what that box was there…

  2. Trisha says:

Poor Buster, bites the dust again. The world is becoming so cell phone obsessed that it wouldn’t surprise me if this has actually happened!

    • I watch people hijack outlets in pubic places all the time, and it’s like what the hell? Who said you could charge your phone on someone else’s electricity? Cell phone entitlement just drives me nuts… and yes, I’ll bet this has happened before. I know people who work in hospitals, and they know how to keep stuff like this out of the news…

  3. Obviously you need to get your priorities in order. It’s important to have an always-charged cell phone.Life vs. cell phone? NO contest. The guy was probably old anyhow.

  4. Awww Buster! Ditched for a cellphone. Not surprising in this day and age, but… AWWWWWW.

  5. Ally Bean says:

Ain’t it the truth? Phone trumps life, every time. In so many ways.

    • It is the scariest invention of my lifetime, for sure. I’ve never seen anything before that has essentially hooked and transfixed an entire nation in such a short period of time. And I’m starting from the time of the first practical smartphone, which debuted not even a decade ago! Devices may be that third antichrist Nostradamus warned us about…

  6. draliman says:

    Poor Buster :-). Oops, I mean :-(.
That’s not the poster I’d want to wake up to in a hospital.

  7. lots of really good items come out of dinkum island, that wasn’t one of ’em.
“it’s life jim but not as we know it! :-D”

  8. Ah, so normal service resumes with Buster dying for us. Good. 🙂

I do have a smart phone but I mostly use it as an alarm clock! It also functions as a flashlight and as a memo pad. Oh, and I occasionally send a text message on it. I actually use it more as a phone when I’m with my family than the rest of the time!

    • You would probably get strange looks these days using a cellphone as a…. well, phone! I have a dumb phone which I will occasionally turn on (mainly when I’m at the casino and need a clock), but it’s most common use is as a paperweight on my desk. The paperweight app doesn’t drain my battery, so I only have to charge it maybe two or three times a year…
