The Absent Minded Squirrel

I know I had it here just a minute ago….

Are you one of those people who is so scatterbrained that you’d probably forget your own sqturday squirrel logohead if it wasn’t attached to your body?  Don’t feel too bad, a lot of us are like that… and as today’s Saturday Squirrel proves, even some critters have difficulty keeping track of those important things.  With the need to memorize hundreds of nut burial locations while possessing a brain that is infamous for having a short attention span, it’s a surprise I don’t see more headless squirrels wandering aimlessly in my backyard who managed to leave their noggin back at the nest.  Good luck trying to find what you’re looking for there, pal… maybe I’ll lend you my seeing eye possum to help out…

Have a great weekend everyone, but don’t lose your head!

Absent-minded, indeed, Bill. I’d lose my head, too, if some guy was invading my privacy with a camera. Good Saturday squirrel, my friend.

I hope he finds his nuts. This is no time to be nutless 😦

  4. So many nuts to find and so little time…..

I feel bad for any squirrels that get as scatterbrained as me. Yesterday I tore half the kitchen apart looking for the coffee stirrer. It turns out that it wasn’t in any its usual places because it was in my left hand the whole time. I hope your squirrel found its nuts without having to dig up half of its nut burial ground!

  6. I have watched our Scotties searching in vain for buried bones. I can only imagine the heartbreak of squirrels with nuts just about everywhere, yet not knowing where their personal stash is. How can they tell theirs from all the other furry friends in the tree? It’s a national disgrace!

    • What’s cute is to watch them decoy other squirrels who might be watching where they bury their nuts… they’ll go to 5 or 6 places sometimes pretending to bury that nut before they finally do it. And then they probably don’t remember which of those stops was the place they actually left it…

I think I’ve lost my mind…oh, never mind. I was sitting on it.

  8. When my attorney Bernie says sign…….well I sign! I completely relate to the AMS. 😀
