One of the inconvenient annoyances of squirrel photography is the fact that if you want to take pictures of them in their natural arboreal habitat, you have to put up with a lot of intervening twigs and leaves that are going to wreak havoc with your camera’s autofocus. Just when you think you have the squirrel in your sights, you press the button and the camera decides on its own that you were obviously trying to capture the damn foliage instead and completely blurs out the intended subject. Somewhere in that picture above, there’s a squirrel who was wanting to say hello to the world, and my camera just let him down! Way to go, stupid camera!!!
For giving me a second chance to make things right, this photogenic little critter gets the honor of being this week’s Saturday Squirrel!
Stay focused, and have a great Memorial Day weekend everyone!
