who tell you that summer ends on Labor Day. There’s still two more weeks of the season from hell to go, and with heat indices expected to go over 100 today and tomorrow, it sure as hell doesn’t feel like Autumn. So don’t put that swimwear in storage just yet…… except for you, Buster. That mankini…. it’s scaring all the guests. Even that Peeping Marshall peering over the fence at my half nekkid critters…
My inbox hasn’t exactly been blowing up with Draw Me A Picture ideas since I started this project a couple weeks ago, so please…. keep this feature from only running a few weeks and submit any and all ideas you might have by going here! You’ll be glad you did…

Oh boy, Easy and Buster would be ladykillers if they got together at the beach! Maybe in more than one sense of the word! Buster’s socks are natural, but he also looks naturally tacky…

I love it. I also reblogged it because today we’re (really) having the tail end of nearly-a-hurricane Hermine (what kind of hurricane name is that?). It is gray and drippy. Uninspiring. But it’s RAINING finally – no small thing. It will be for several days. So a pool party is exactly what my personal physician ordered — or would order if I could get him on the phone. Thank you, thank you.
If you are still looking for ideas, remember that autumn is coming and whatever you do, you have the opportunity to paint the trees in strange and wonderful hues. Who cares that trees don’t have electric blue or hot pink leaves? Your critters don’t have to live in the real color spectrum, right? Right!!
It’ll be just like tripping on LSD, only without all of the groovy side effects! I’ll bet electric blue and hot pink leaves would be just the genetic mutation that would turn the tables and eat gypsy moths…
I’m guessing that shark will be swimming around quite harmlessly until Buster dives in…
The shark might grow impatient and have to drag the stupid possum in the water, what with him showing off that offensive swimwear to all of the chicks…

Nothing like a good pool party is there…..looks like everyone is enjoying it including the shark. Glad you remembered to put the umbrella in the drink – a necessary accessory for sure!

Looks like there needs to be a “no pooping” sign too! I bet pool owners sometimes wish their pools could be stocked with sharks that are trained to eat pool poopers. Buster looks so creepy! If he were human he’d be wearing a speedo and a big gold chain against his hairy chest.
If he were human, he’d probably have as much fur on his chest too! Blech!
