As hard as this may be to believe, there are people who will actually pay real cash money for something with one of my remedial art class doodles on it! Three of my cherished blog followers (You all know who you are, and I can’t thank you enough!) have all bought a Rainbow 
Donkey themed item from one of my stores at some point in time. You would think when someone asks me to draw something personal for them that they would like to buy, I’d be all over that big, fat commission like a steamroller on a possum… but as message board friend AND blog follower Fanny will attest to, sometimes I need a kick in the acorns to get going…
I think it was in Spring of LAST YEAR that she noted a complete dearth of Wiki designs in my store, and requested I draw something based on the cute poses he had in this comic from 2014. After a bit of brainstorming together on exactly what would look good, I proceeded to get right on it completely forget about doing it at all. Not on purpose… just out of an epic case of procrastination. So she subtly reminded me of this forgotten assignment by submitting it as a Draw Me A Picture Tuesday submission. After settling on a much simpler design this time, she got me to turn the last of the four Wiki dance poses into this adorable sleeping Wiki graphic for a nightshirt. And the RD stuffy was her idea as well. This one turned out so nice, that I added it as a regular item in both my Cafepress and Redbubble stores as well!

Aw, little Wiki is so cute! I will have to add to my collection soon so my Rainbow Donkey mug doesn’t get lonely. I just can’t decide who should be his companion in my cupboard.
I’ve thrown a lot of stuff out lately, though my store is hopelessly disorganized, so it’s kind of like shopping at Goodwill. And if there was ever anything special you wanted me to make for an item, it’d only take me a year and a half to make it! 😉
I like the way things are organized on Redbubble, where you can see all the products available for each design. I just can’t decide which character to add to my collection!
