  1. Green Embers says:

I feel sad for pigadillo 😦

  2. So, Skunkbitch can’t eat without her phone? And poor Pigladillo doesn’t get to much his favorite posssum chow? and MY dogs are telling me they are starving to death and to ignore those well rounded tummies. Complaints, complaints, complaints, eh?

  3. franhunne4u says:

Animal cruelty all over Evil Squirrel’s nest … who’d have thought …

  4. draliman says:

    Insightful social commentary!
I hope RD landed safe. I’m gonna worry now :-(. Maybe he landed on a nice soft possum…

  5. poor pigladillo…. mother nature gave you a long trunk but furgot to add a suction pump…

  6. We’re all tied to SOME sort of leash these days……..phone cords, computer cords, whateva! Seems the best things in life (although possum chow might not be on that list) are usually JUST OUT OF REACH!

    • I’ll think of that poor Pigladillo every time I see the people in the break room at work huddled up around the phone charger blocking the aisle between the counter and the tables…

  7. Trisha says:

Poor Pigladillo. 😦 Whenever I see a dog chained up, I want to set it free and, of course, bring it home with me to pamper it for the rest of its life. And now to think there are chained Pigladillos out there too. Oh, the tragedy!

That’s the bad thing about cell phones. Even if you aren’t particularly tethered to the thing, people expect you to be and get all bent out of shape if you don’t answer. I’m guessing my selective hearing is resistance to those invisible chains. Which reminds me, I need to call my mom back….

    • The standard of living for critters at The Nest is almost as bad as at a puppy mill….

I broke people of that expectation with me a long time ago…. first by not even getting a cell until 2006, and then never having it on and not being apologetic about it at all. And even the landline is safely tucked away out of listening range when I’m asleep during the day. Funny thing is, people at work usually know about things that go on with my family (via Evilbook) before I do!
