  1. May your howliday be furry and bright! 🎄

  2. Quirky Girl says:

Such a festively-decorated tree you’ve got there. Merry Christmas! 😀

  3. Ouch! Let’s just hope that it’s not a pony friend of OURS! Hope you at least get a little time off. Enjoy whatever you enjoy. Can hardly wait for this year to (finally) end. Doesn’t it feel as if 2016 has lasted forever?

    • I do get Saturday night off, but I have to wait until January 1st to start my traditional post-Christmas vacation this time since apparently the last week of December suddenly became a major retail holiday or something. My 2016 personal nightmare started literally the MINUTE I turned 41 this summer, and I hope that means I don’t have to wait until July for my year from hell to officially end….

  4. ooooh! that is… special but… am I a bad people because I laughed?

    • On a blog that relies on possum-squishing humor as a major source of comedy, I don’t think there’s here that would be wrong to laugh at! Speaking of, that could be part possum glue as well…

  5. draliman says:

Yeeks! Useful though, and doesn’t eat you out of house and home. “The gift of chileh” sounds more my sort of thing.
    Merry Christmas!

  6. Be careful what you wish for……that’s what I’ve always been told anyway. May the Squirrels Nest be the destination of choice for Santa CLAWS and may the Christmas Chileh flow freely! I never did get the “cookies and milk” thing for Santa……it’s cold out there…..I should think he’d appreciate chileh and a hot toddy………….

    MERRY CHRISTMAS…………Pam and Angel Sam

  7. Merbear74 says:

    I second RD…not cool. LOL

  8. Trisha says:

Ewww, poor Rainbow Donkey! This makes me glad I don’t rely on Santa for Christmas gifts. If I ever do ask for that puppy I’ve always wanted, I’m going to be very specific about it’s condition. Heart beating, not the work of a taxidermist.

    • There’s a possibility Santa may not have the warped sense of humor I have, though it pays not to take any chances. I think a lawyer could draw up a satisfactory description of the puppy you’d want in 100 or so pages to assure no tricks…
