It’s Picture Day Wednesday….. and yes, we will still have Picture Day at The Nest. I’m not shitcanning 
it while I’m doing the A to Z thing on Tuesdays. That challenge has me digging into Photobucket folders I haven’t looked at in a while and finding pictures I’d forgotten about. Like this one of my butterball Ody sacked out in his favorite place to roost… on top of the back cushion of my big comfy chair. Yeah, that’s scratching damage you see on the back of the chair… but it’s an oldie so it was built to last, and has held up very well to serving a pair of clawed cats for the past seven and a half years.
Shhhhhhhhh! Don’t wake him up. He’ll only want to be fed again….
I’ll have something else to whisper about next Wednesday….

That’s a great photo of Ody…….cats always look so darn comfortable when they’re sleeping which isn’t always the case with the way some humans sleep. Say – that might make an interesting feature for you – weirdo sleeping positions (the non x-rated ones anyway!).

That is one relaxed, very comfy-looking cat! I’m always a bit envious about how comfy some cats look when they are sleeping. Scooby never looks that comfy and relaxed because he chooses to perch on top of strange things like shoes, papers, and even dumbells.
Sounds like Scooby has a very low sleep number. Has he tried the bed of nails yet?

I used to find some strange places to take lunch hour naps at work. Bags of birdseed aren’t bad pillows…

Probably did…. he’s going to get swallowed up between the cushion and the back of the chair one of these days and end up disappearing with all the lost change…
