I have nothing too special for this week’s installment of Picture Day Wednesday at The Nest, so I figured it’d be a nice time to dump a couple photos I got of my famous neighborhood prowler Pretty Kitty on top of the car a couple houses down sometime earlier this year. I can’t tell you exactly when this happened since whatever keeps track of the date and time in my camera went kaput sometime last Fall… so unless I want to stop and reset it every time I hit the power button, all of my pictures are now digitally timestamped as having been taken on January 1, 1980. I’m pretty sure automobiles did not look like this during the Carter Administration…
And I had a massive V-8 moment at work last night when I was stocking Sporting Goods and put up a case of bean bag toss game sets. It reminded me that the one picture I ABSOLUTELY WANTED to put in yesterday’s C-photo post managed to completely slip my mind. And since I can’t just sweep aside this epic brain fart, I went back and edited the post so that the letter C can now be completely accounted for…
Sorry, Pretty Kitty. I’ll have more mess ups of my own making next Wednesday…
exactly the ram is much more powerful… and I bet even the cat stays away from this lame jaguar logo… although they are related :o)
I am a little jealous that my own car doesn’t have a hood ornament…. though if Pretty Kitty is willing, I’d love to have her give my ride some style. Of course, I’d make sure to put a little seat belt on the hood for her…
Pretty Kitty the Calico COULD have been in the “C”s yesterday too……! I went back to see the photo you forgot to post yesterday though – how COULD you have forgotten that one? I always thought that cornholing sounded like some sort of medieval torture though.
Pam
It definitely does not sound like something that would be a fun activity…. though you can probably only throw bean bags at holes for so long before its fun quotient expired. I have so many cat photos of so many cats, that i didn’t want to hog the post with kitties…. though you’re right that I should have made an exception for CALICO…
I bet you could convince Pretty Kitty to be your car hood ornament by installing a roller coaster-tope seat on top, so she’d have the added thrill of being more than just a pretty face going for a ride. 😛
And she’d be even happier that I never take my hunk of junk through the car wash, unless she actually enjoys water rides…
Pretty Kitty lives up to her name. Calicos always charm me. And they know it.
She makes a quite charming and attractive car model. No bikini required…
whitefish wednesday wavez two ewe pretty kitty !!! grate ta see ewe two day 🙂 ♥♥
Pretty Kitty winks back…
Carter administration. That’s a big “C” too, isn’t it? Those letters! You can find them everywhere.
They are, and they always turn up after I’ve done the post for that letter. Next week will be D for DUMBASS! Too bad I’ve never taken a selfie…
I wonder if Pretty Kitty and Sewer Cat are spayed and/or neutered? If PK hasn’t been pregnant in all the time you’ve known her, I’d say she probably is but, if you could catch either one, there are free programs most places for TNR (trap, neuter, release). Check with your vet next time you have to get Poopyhead’s meds for his sugars.
My Mom thought she saw a scar on PK when she dropped by last year, but then thought she looked pregnant earlier this year. Since this is prime kitten dropping time, I’ll take the lack of a bloated belly as more of an indication that she’s probably had the surgery. I did not get a good enough look at Sewer Rat’s junk to see if it was snipped, but he still likes to hang around his old house and doesn’t stop by as much anymore…
I just love paw-prints all over my freshly-washed car. Fortunately my car is rarely freshly-washed.
I only use the all natural car wash, which has been open for business frequently with all of the rain and storms we’ve had. It even got a “hail massage” on top of its wash last week….
Your car is indeed blessed.
Aw, Pretty Kitty does look prettier than the Jaguar hood ornament! She’s such a beautiful girl. My cat Frosty used to enjoy getting on the neighbor’s cars. Just one more reason I’m shocked that he’s still around at 19 & 1/2 years old!
Gee, I should take a picture of the neighbors beauty of a Cat, it has a Hitler mustache and it Craps in my yard all the time! lol.. then my dog tries to eat it and that disgusting habit is called “Canine Coprophagia”!! Now there’s a bunch of “C’s”….. :0
One of my Mom’s little anklebiters loves to raid the litter box of my sister’s cat! I didn’t know it had that fancy name… I’ll have to try and remember it!
🙂
Better late than never, right? 😁
