Another terrific Tuesday is upon us, and that means it’s time for The Nest to once again pay tribute to one of those letters that everyone who made it past first grade once had to print out on shitty paper marked like a two lane highway. Welcome to the lucky thirteenth installment of my Photography A to Z challenge! Today, we will be paying tribute to The Crash Test Dummies’ favorite letter… so we’ll join Dorothy in calling out to Auntie M! Let’s go ahead and get the legal part out of the way….
- Only photos I took myself will be used.
- All photos used will have been taken without any thought given to this challenge.
Alrighty then….. let’s take a look at some pictures I’ve taken in the past that look MAHHHHHHvelous!
The MOON working one of its less appreciated day shifts…
McDONALD’S in Times Square…. the only decent meal I had on my entire Millionaire sponsored trip to New York.
Speaking of….. my fake check for one MILLION dollars! I’m still trying to find a bank that will cash it…
A cute squirrel with a piece of corn in its MOUTH.
A MUSHROOM that popped up in my yard. Don’t tell me it’s really a toadstool, I don’t care…
Guy on a MOTORCYCLE. There’s a really weird story behind this photo…
These things are some kind of MONKEYS. Trust me…
The MINNESOTA Twins ursine MASCOT going berzerk with a T-shirt launcher. My timing in getting this shot just as the souvenir was leaving the barrel was amazingly lucky…
MONGOOSE love! That would’ve made a great title for a 70’s song…
The dude in the light gray shirt is rocking the world’s most pathetic MANBUN.
Don’t MESS with Texas®! Or else….
MECCA! This one in suburban Cleveland (MERBY loves it when I use my Cleveland photos)…
The MALL of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. I think I found one halfway decent store in the entire place to browse through…
MUDDY MESS my yard was left in after the ditch fiasco in 2010…
And as a reward for making it through this mighty collection of emness, everyone gets a big smoochie from MITZI the bimbocorn! Keep it short though, the line is pretty long…
YAY! We’re officially halfway through the Photography A to Z challenge! And now we get to the half of the alphabet that has all the really fun letters in it. But before we mind our Q’s and Z’s, we’ve gotta breathe through the nose and tackle N! See you next Tuesday!
Quaff a couple of brew-zkis before you ponder N. It helps the noggin. 🙂
Quaff sounds like a laugh that forces itself out in the midst of drinking…. sending spewage forth (and froth) onto anyone nearby.
Perhaps, but it’s bit softer than a swig. 🙂
M is a cool letter, like Mr. Phoenix (my name) or Manolo Blahnik (nemesis for all wallets)…or Muzak, or Mac&cheese :o) btw: give the check to our bank, they can not read and even accepted a check the mama signed with my name…
Oooooh, I’ll have to try that! Will they cash it in American dollars, Euros, or maybe pieces of eight?
the main thing is to get no liras… or pesetas ;o)
ody N biskit….dad getted sum grate shotz; two bad he mizzed out on mackerull tho 🙂 ♥♥
The mackerulls just aren’t very willing to come out for the camera…
Mitzi is my favourite lady!
She is the favorite of many! The people’s bimbocorn of choice…
Everybody knows somebody like Mitzi.
Hey! You left ME out! Or the “me” that is “you,” if you catch MY drift! (Glad you didn’t decided to munch on that not-a-mushroom.)
I have no ME pictures, other than accidental ones like the laptop photo I used last week where I just noticed my face in the mirror at the top. I don’t want to make this about ME anyway… I want to make it about MY photos. That’s how unselfish I am…
Oh no, you’ve accidentally revealed Mecca’s secret identity… 🙂
I’m surprised “Health and Safety” hasn’t put paid to T-Shirt launchers.
You would think some fan has gotten their teeth knocked out by a T-shirt walloping them in the face at Mach one. Then again, I’ve been in a few of those scrums for souvenir baseballs hit into the stands and am lucky to have come out alive…
Bet that T-shirt launcher would launch other stuff too…………just sayin’………….MIND boggling eh?
Pam
I’ll bet it has a range much farther than anything North Korea can come up with…. not that that’s saying much.
Marvellous, darlin’!
Muchas gracias…
I can’t believe we are half way through the alphabet. And you went to the Mall of America?! Oh my piggy heavens. My mom/dad have wanted to go there for vacation for years. They are sick and admit it I know. Snorts with piggy laughter. XOXO – Bacon
Awesome, you used Cleveland and my nickname Merby. I was wondering if you’d include me! My day is now complete.
Your photo of McDonald’s in NYC is marvelous. Kind of artsy with the reflection off the street. All the other pics are good, too– but I’m taken with that one.
That was Marvelous! Hey, I keep forgetting…I went to school with a B.B. but he was a reject from Britain so I guess it’s not you? LOL…:)
Nope, I’m just a reject from Illinois!
