Happy Fourth of July to those of you in the good ol’ U. S. of A…. and to those of you who aren’t, well, I can still wish you a happy fourth of July unless you use some strange pagan calendar. More importantly, though, it’s Tuesday… and because this is the land of the brave where our forefathers fought for my right to shitty photography, I can share another 1/26th of my photo album with you for another edition of my Photography A to Z challenge! And if you made it through this post full of past O moments, then take some time to savor the white squirrels of OLNEY, Illinois. This was the only white squirrel I saw during my brief stopover there in 2012 because I realized too late that they keep the poor bastards locked away from the general population. That is the very kind of anti-freedom, anti-American message we don’t need on this most patriotic of days….

Ooooh, belly rub Tuesday all over again … Just like it is each Tuesday on Katzenworld.
And no, no peeing all over me – sorry, but I am not excessively fond about that. That would make me a U…rophilist. And I have been strictly told by my GP that I should stop that. He does not endorse drinking your own urine – let alone that of strangers.
That is some good doctorly advice. If it looks like lemonade, but doesn’t smell like lemonade, decline.
The Sox are playing and Garry says we should end the season now because this is as good as it gets. The barbecue is ready for its first fire. I tried to convince Garry he could do it, but he pretended he couldn’t hear me.
OVERALL, life is OK in OUR little town.
And for this day – no news at all.
We can’t end the season yet, I haven’t been to a ballgame yet this year. The cost and hassle of attending has practically killed my desire for it, which is sad…
