I never saw it this way how awful the idea of autonomous cars really is… poor youngsters, they will never know how it feels to be the ruler of the wheel…
Yep, no driving those cool cars to school. On the other hand, it frees up more time to spend in the back seat….
This is one of many reasons I think “self-driving” cars are going to be a slower moving item than everyone (but me) thinks. A lot of people still actually enjoy driving. Not me, but other people. And I did, in my deeply flawed past.
This is a disaster waiting to happen. I don’t care how much time you put into testing and debugging, you’re not going to release a perfect product the first time… and the idea of having cars out on the road with a mind of their own is even scarier than trying to drive in rush hour traffic….
I too wonder if the driverless vehicle will really be popular……I was holding out for FLYING cars but I suppose that’s just a “Jetsons” kind of dream!

I always figured flying cars never became a thing because of their impracticality. Having all those flying cars just whizzing around the free range of the open air is a daily disaster waiting to happen. Then again, I think the same thing about the autonomous car, and yet it seems like it WILL happen in the immediate future. How do you flip off an autonomous car for cutting you off?
Now I want a Rainbow Donkey go-faster rainbow on my car.
I think I’m just the right age. I get to enjoy driving myself right now, and when I’m too old to safely drive the new self-driving cars can drive me around instead.
Now there’s a retirement plan…

I’m not sure Uncle Evil is using his rear view mirror properly… I mean, there’s that angry koala right there and he’s as cool as the proverbial cucumber. Me? I’d be flooring the gas to try to get it off the back of the car!!
