All aboard the S.S. Crappie! It’s Hammer Time! Or dinner time! Or time to be dinner… 😬
Wet possum dinner! Mmmmmmmmm!!
Ohh no, how unfortunate for the poor possum!! 😛

That would describe what happens in a number of my comics…
Oh no! Ah well, chileh is chileh, I guess (munch munch munch).
Buster is high in fat and low in nutrients, which means he must be delicious!
But it’s so good, so emotionally satisfying, to die in a good cause, isn’t it? Surely Buster is grateful for the opportunity, right?
Give until it hurts, they say. Nobody ever said how much it has to hurt….
Great, those people will end up with the trots…
The sea has turned brown!
Sometimes it’s the smallest victims that are forgotten…
Very true. Buster aside, I feel for all of the wild critters who had to put up with this…
I’m not sure whether to feel sorry for Buster or the 20 refugees that are going to eat him. Yuck!
When I was growing up, we always joked about the Tar Heel side of my family making Possum Pie. I never did ask my Granny if she ever made any!
I wouldn’t be surprised if there were real possums in possum pie. And you could pick up so many ingredients along just about any southern road….
I don’t think I could have survived back in the hills of North Carolina where the cute little critters were seen as good eatin’….
ouch….that is jumping out of the frying pan into the fire… literally… ummmm… can you share the recipe please?
Broil one Buster for 30 minutes at 600 degrees Enjoy!
Well in a disaster situation, people will eat anything – well, almost anything anyway……stuffed Buster with apple garnish sounds very gourmet to me so I’m sure the shelter will have at least 20 well fed survivors!
Pam
Mmmmmmmm, gourmet possum. Complete with a silver serving dish and all. Yep, he may become a regular delicacy even once the disaster is over…
Aww…..that’s so mean ……but funny.
That would sum up the reaction to about two-thirds of my comics. The other third are just lame…
I think Buster Chilleh will be like Terry Pratchett’s dwarf bread. One look and you’ll suddenly realise you’re not hungry any more!
I was mostly amused by the Titanic appearing in your background.
Two disasters in one…. yet the Titanic survivors get no Buster chileh….
