Is there anything in this world more adorable than a happy squirrel? Look at this cutie! He’s not going to run away from my camera and give me the business from high up in a tree. He isn’t going to throw acorns, nuts, or anything else not tied down in my general direction. This guy’s far too excited at the opportunity to have his picture taken and proudly displayed on my blog for the whole world to ooh and aah over.
That’s the spirit, little one! Let your powerful rays of sciurine sunshine light up the world as only a smiling Saturday Squirrel can do!
Have a great weekend everyone, and SMILE!
He IS smiling! That is a grand sight to see on a SNOWY (yes I said snowy) Saturday in Virginia!
Pam
I don’t think he’d be smiling much if he was nut deep in snow like that! I hope all the tree branches nearby are properly plowed for squirrel traffic!
Funny you mention squirrels because I don’t think we have EVER seen the squirrels having more fun out there than in the snow yesterday. There had to be 15-20 running around like little madmen; chasing each other and having a blast.
What a happy chappy!
Better than a crappy slappy pappy…
Must be a suburban squirrel. I think they are much more cheerful than the city hoodlums I’m more familiar with. 😊 Happy weekend.
The city hoodlums are better at smirking than smiling… but even they look cute flashing an evil grin!
He looks like he’s standing for his portrait. Proud, handsome squirrel 😀
It’s hard enough to get them to pose for a regular photo, let alone a portrait. And even smile for it…
Love love love this photo!
Cheery happy squirrels for the win!
That is a great photo! We have a lot of squirrels in our yard, brown, gray, and black, but they will sit motionless until they see me trying to get a pic. Then they R. U. N.!
The squirrels around here are all grey… not much variety other than the occasional weird patch of coloring, usually during molting.
Amazing Smiling Squirrel! 🙂
That is a happy squirrel – with a lovely white tummy. If only they would let us tickle them.
That would be nice. At least Ody will let me rub his big, gigantic belly without clawing me to death….
