Here’s a picture I took of everyone’s favorite neighborhood roamer Sewie after he followed me in the house one day last week. He doesn’t stay inside very long… mainly because he seems to prefer the great outdoors, and also because he tends to despise both of my cats. I guess the fact that my floor needs both swept and mopped may factor into his short stays as well. Hey, if you have a problem with it, I certainly wouldn’t mind if someone else wanted to play the cleaning fairy! The French maid costume just doesn’t fit me well…

I Posted At Merby’s Place!
I Was FIRST!
Glad to hear he’s still around. Street cats don’t generally live long lives.
Sewie has a home, but I’m not sure how much time he actually spends there. I think he is more outside than inside cat, though…
me neither ;o) my mom bought me a door sign: sorry, forgot cleaning but welcome anyway ;o)
That’s great! A messy home is a happy home….
I have a sign that says “Martha doesn’t live here!” 🙂
The communal areas of our house are usually not too bad. The least said about my bedroom on the other hand….
Sweetness.
We used to have cats that really lived (in theory) somewhere else. They were wanderers, going from house to house, enjoying a little bit of company then moving on. They were always really sweet cats. They just didn’t like being tied down.
sewie ….wavez two ya dood; nice ta see ya again ! 🙂
We had one like that – eventually he lived with us, but stayed mainly outside.
I think Sewie prefers outside to inside. He definitely has the survival skills to make it out there, and is still nice enough to trust certain humans…
Was relieved to read about Sewie again.
He seems to be much better taken care of by his owners than the calico cat who used to come to my door last year. Not much traffic for him to worry about where he chooses to roam, and we don’t really have much in the way of cat eating predators in my hood.
What a beautiful kitty, brave too! 🙂
He isn’t afraid of my cats, even if Ody is twice as big.
Glad he’s still around! When I first saw the photo I thought he was wearing a little hat.
I thought he was wearing a hat a first too!
Only if Sewie was joining the band Devo!
What a pretty kitty. A long time ago I had a cat named Eureka who looked just like him.
I have not seen many cats who look like Sewie before, but agree he is very pretty.
Snorts – you too? Dad says he doesn’t mind the french maid uniform. He just hates it when mom makes him wear the matching pumps. Snorts and rolls with piggy laughter. XOXO – Bacon
I think your dad could probably do alright in six inch heels, don’t you think?
Snorts and rolls with piggy laughter. He teethers for a while until he gets the hang of it. XOXO – Bacon
Sewie is a cutie…………has a great face………..thanks so much for the “eye worm” of you cavorting around the nest in a French maid’s uniform…… 🙂
Pam
Concentrate on Sewie instead! That other image is just nightmare fuel!
Sewie is a pretty kitty. It’s funny that he will come in even though he hates Ody and Bizkit. Cats are so weird!
And he usually wants right back out when I let him in! He does seem to like me and will usually come my way if I go outside and he’s nearby. I stepped out the back door the other night to make sure a burning smell that was irritating my nose wasn’t actually coming from my house, and heard something running towards me real fast and I couldn’t tell it was Sewie until he got right up on me! I thought I was gonna get attack by a rabid possum or something (Maybe one of Buster’s relatives!)
