Looks like I stumbled upon some sciurine drama at the park this past summer, and my ever vigilant camera was able to catch a still of the action! What in the heck is happening here? What is up with that squirrel under the tree, and more importantly, the squirrel that’s about to spring upon him?
Like Marvin, I have no idea what’s going on…. but maybe you do. If so, come up with a creative short description of the incident this photo captured! You can leave your idea in the comments, or feel free to tackle it on your blog if you wish (be sure to link back!). As usual, I love to see my readers come up with the weirdness from time to time. Consider this week’s Saturday Squirrel to be a tune up for the next Contest of Whatever in February…
Have a great holiday (or non holiday) weekend everyone!
It’s hide and seek holiday fun!
You’d think a squirrel could find a better hiding place than that. Climb the tree, moron!
Start the Car Mertle !!
Merry X-Mas Bill! Have a nice holiday (that’s if Mecca gives you the day off?)
Xmas Eve is the night crew’s one common night off every year. Go back and work two then off for nine! Who knows what I’ll come up with with that much time on my hands…
Wait for it, wait for it…. Now, jump!
Surprise!
It’s payback time biatch. Expect it when you least expect it. Bwahaha.
That’s why you don’t steal a squirrel’s nuts…
Leaping lizards! There’s a leaping LIZARD coming our way!
Well, I did take that during the summer. It’s way too cold for leaping lizards and other cold blooded creatures today…. they’d freeze their tails off.
I received your ecard, and I enjoyed it more than I normally would have because the subject of penguins came up Friday night with a relative who, when I informed her that penguins had nothing to do with Christmas since they’re only at the South Pole, told me that there absolutely are penguins at the North Pole… and when it was apparent I doubted her wisdom, she got someone else to back her up. Penguins and polar bears together are one of my biggest Christmas pet peeves, which is really saying something since I’m not big on the holiday at all!
Thank you, and happy last days of December back to you and Garry!
“I’ll race you to the top!!”………….Love watching that kind of drama on a tree – two or more flying around chasing each other…..it looks like so much fun!
Merry Christmas Eve to you and the kitties…………
Pam and Teddy
I see some really wild chases at the park where there’s more trees than in my backyard… but it’s even harder to catch any of the action when they’ve got that much space to run!
