Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined my porch would ever serve as a chow line for wayward cats. It began with the calico Pretty Kitty two years ago, and then Sewie (pictured, left) last year, and my newest refugee Gypsy (right) who first materialized back in March. Here we see the latter two cats enjoying a free meal together. Well…. not quite Lady and the Tramp together. Gypsy is a fussy little thing, and doesn’t seem to enjoy the company of any other cats… thus why Sewie’s can of noms is stationed a safe distance from the princess’. I haven’t seen Sewie (who does have a regular home) much at all the past two months, but Gypsy still shows up almost every day… even though the menu at Chez Nest never changes…
You’re a good person to feed them regularly. Love this photo.
I am such a pushover for a cute critter…
Beautiful kitties! I’m sure they appreciate the regular meals they enjoy at your place. 🙂
I know Gypsy looks forward to feeding time at The Nest. She probably enjoys what I put out better than the bread(!) I saw a neighbor throw out for her one time…
Can of noms. Nice!
That needs to be trademarked! Can of Noms® brand….
If our dogs could wander, they would eat a meal at every house for miles around. And we’ve had a few cats who could eat a house, too. How’s you BD going? Good?
Well, it isn’t the worst birthday I’ve ever had by far, but I’ve sure had many better ones. I’m glad I took the night off work, because I sure don’t think I’d have felt up to going in…
Yum, noms at the Nest! It’s good of you to pop out some grub for the neighbourhood kitties.
It warms my heart to contribute to the obesity of the local cats…
Sewie may have decided those “uneasy” meals with Gypsy around meant he needed to dine at home instead of at Chez Nest! Glad you took the night off from work to celebrate your BD as well as give your shoulder a rest.
Pam
The rest did my shoulder just fine. I do think Gypsy may have run off Sewie… either out of unfriendliness or maybe envy on the part of Sewie.
Bless you for helping out the locals. 😻
It’s less that will get packed onto Ody’s 20+ pound frame….
A 20 lb. domesticated cat? Aren’t those called pumas?
One of the two nicknames my sister has for Ody (The other is mountain lion!). I just all him Fatass!
🤣
The menu may not change but there is a menu. That’ll be why Gypsy keeps on coming back!
