Is there anything more adorable than a sleeping animal? The big cats weren’t up and at ’em on my visit to the zoo a couple years ago, but at least this tiger wasn’t hiding from view while taking his siesta. Look at that furry belly! What a cutie. I’ll bet he’d like to petted…… well, maybe after his nap is over. The cosmic timing that has occurred a few times during this countdown already appears to have been a tad off here, as I just discovered that this photo is two days late for Global Tiger Day….
sleeping cats (no matter what size) should be the symbol of peace… and not picassos boring pigeon…
Pigeons should only be the symbol of getting shit on…
Let me know how the petting goes. He does look sweet and cuddly…but so do sleeping children. 😆
I think I’d take my chance with the tiger over the sleeping children…
Good choice.
That is a great shot of a very happy looking feline……never fear if you missed Global Tiger Day – there’s always International Cat Day which is on August 8th!
Pam
Well, shoot! My next cat in the countdown won’t be until August 10th, so once again I’ll be two days late! Better late than never, I guess…
aawww. I just want to give him a little itty box to play with when he awakes up. XOXO – Bacon
Awwww, how nice of you! Maybe the box a certain elf on the shelf stays in?
That my evil friend would be ideally splendid 🙂 XOXO – Bacon
Whenever I’ve been to a zoo everything’s always been asleep. Usually out of view, though.
Yeah, sometimes I’d swear they’re only pretending to have animals. A zoo can get a lot of business building a unicorn cage, and just keep telling the kids the unicorn’s in his cave sleeping all the time…
Such regal and magnificent creatures. Capturing one digitally makes my heart sing…but quietly since I suspect cats of all stripes enjoy their siestas.🐯
TOTAL LEE AWESOME PHOTO !!!!!!!!!!!!! ♥♥ 🙂
Haha, cats certainly love their naps! However, I highly doubt this cat wants to be petted.
We used to have one of those safari parks near home and on one trip, a tiger jumped up on the head of the little car we were driving. He put his paw on the windshield. I swear that paw was the size of a turkey platter. It was HUGE. And so was the tiger. Pettable? Maybe. But boyoboy, I’d hate to give a try and be wrong.
It is not good to see the tigers live like dogs. They doesn’t belog here. The should not be petted.
Only around 4000 tigers left in the world.
