If you weren’t following me back in the day when I shared the story of the litter of kittens who temporarily called the Lawn & Garden patio of the Mecca I work at home, then you should check out all of the other photos I shared of these cute little kitties! Three of the four little ones were ginger tabbies, and here are two of them having a little post-feeding fun. Yes, they were eventually removed to a rescue shelter (there are laws, you know)… but when stray pets have used our store as something of a halfway house, you can bet the oohing and aahing associates working there are going to make sure they’re some of the best fed animals on the planet. These kittens would be eight years old now, and I hope they’re all still living happy, healthy lives in new homes…
Oh how adorable! Of course you know I have a “thing” about ginger tabbies but that’s another subject………I am glad Mecca employees take care of these little temporary refugees when they seek shelter – that’s so kind and yes I too hope that eight years down the road all of this batch have been enjoying a forever home somewhere thanks to the kindness of Mecca.

I thought of you when I revisited this picture (and the rest of the set) for the countdown!
Ginger babies…..LUV !
that’s what we hope too…I wish thex found a home full of love and treats and toys…
Maybe not as cool (or dangerous) toys as we had out on the patio they grew up on…
OMG so cute! I love tabbies. The little stripes are so adorable. This photo makes me want a baby kitty so bad!
Kitten photos have a way of doing that. Of course, I look at the pictures I have of Ody as a kitten and wonder (usually while he’s lying there sprawled out on the SCT “stage” looking at me with his scowl) where in the hell that cute little kitten I used to have went to!
Ooh, aah 🙂
Kittehs!
I love ginger tabbies. They all look like Garfield 😀
Ginger tabbies are quite adorable. Almost as much as the tuxedo coated kitties.
