For a cat that normally lacks much in the way of exciting personality, Biskit still appears to be the feline of a thousand faces. I use this photo on my blog a lot, usually with a caption of Biskit telling me off, because I love the intense, impatient stare he’s flashing me from way down there on the floor. “Hey you jackass! Why don’t you try paying attention to ME for once instead of that black and white blimp that floats around here!” Poor, underappreciated Biskit. I guess I better reach down and pet him before he rips into my femoral artery….
yes better pet him… this look is promising… and before you end with a cattoo ;O)
He has very sharp needles…. I mean, claws.
Yikes……yes indeed that is a “watch it buster” kind of stare. I think all cats have a built-in radar for a major artery in their human should the NEED arise. Keeps us on our toes…..I suggest you pet that boy from time to time – – – – OR ELSE!
Pam
I’d advise him against going for the jugular… as it might very well take days for anyone to discover my body, and his lean physique would not do well without the hand that feeds him!
I so wish you had a jet-black carpet. That would be a bit weird, but Biskit would almost completely disappear!
Well, if I let it get any dirtier, it may very well turn black. And then I’d never see the attacks coming…
Biskit looks pretty intense. Our 3-year-old cat Harrison stares like that when he’s ready for his evening meal (morning & evening). He’ll stare for what feels like hours, I think trying to put me in a trance to get him food. He’s very cute but I resist!
Biskit looks so much like my late Black Kitty. Just beautiful.
Cats are good at staring. And they don’t resort to the puppy dog eyes…. they’ll just burn a hole into your soul until you’re ready to give them what they want. There are so many pretty black kitties out there…
I know that stare! I get it every day, usually around soft food time, but also when he needs a pet. If he doesn’t get what he wants, he stands on his hind legs and puts his front paw on my leg. A super please. You KNOW you can’t ignore them!
HA! And that foreshadows another appearance Biskit will be making in the higher reaches of this photo countdown….
biskit….dood….just rememburr….yur dad doez hafta sleep sum time 😉 ♥♥
Good kitty! Do not hurt Mr. Evil Squirrel! He is your kind master and will always feed and shelter you. Nice kitty.
See how good he is?
I’ve seen what Biskit can do to a wayward bug on the floor. He may look small and quiet and gentle… but inside lies a killing machine that is extremely intimidating!
“Please sir, may I have some more??” 😇
It’s weird how cats convey with just their eyeballs that they are feeling wild and anything can happen, including making you bleed!
