It’s not every day you get to witness a traffic stop on your street… let alone one that results in the arrest of both occupants of the car. The unique view I get from my front windows down my cul-de-sac gave me an excellent angle on this odd sight to occur so close to home. I took nearly 100 photos of the stop from when the car was first pulled over to the tow truck removing the newly unoccupied vehicle to take to the impound lot almost an hour later. This is the first time I posted one of the photos from this event that happened while I had New Year’s week off last year because it seems like somewhat of an awkward thing to show off. Yet, it happened… I documented it, and chose the most telling snap to include in this countdown. The only edit was blotting out the license plate to protect the allegedly innocent…
who was his partner in crime… I mean in innocence? was it a man or a woman?
It was a Bonnie and Clyde. She must have been wanted as well since she was cuffed after her boyfriend…
oh… I thought ladies first?
Chivalry is dead when it comes to the walk of shame…
Hard to see in the car, on the seat – but it looks like a young woman.
Correct.
How exciting! Drugs or soliciting or a combo of the two I bet……….
Pam
They both obviously had warrants… who knows what they were up to? It would be funny if either/or wound up on the naughty list of community service people who are sent out to clean my ditch…
It would – you’d definitely have to catch that on film……!
Exciting times on the cul de sac! I’ve never seen an arrest on my street, but there have been a couple of late night flash light searches. The number of criminals running around is just baffling to me. I’ve managed to live 48 years without ever having a warrant out for my arrest.
Yeah, me too! Well minus five years. Some people just can’t keep their nose clean. Knowing my city like I do, it’s a solid bet meth was behind the arrest…
That’s another thing that baffles me. Why would anyone even try that shit? It has rotted away so many lives, families and communities.
That moment when you’re trying to escape the cops and turn down a cul-de-sac…
No doubt the last thing he did before getting cuffed was facepalm himself…
Nice shots. I once got up to go to work and went out to the parking lot and found a dead person in one of the cars. I had to explain to my bosses that there was a corpse in the lot and I had to wait for the cops. I forgot to take pictures.
