#81 – Hole Sweet Hole

Photo taken: March 9, 2017

Many human homeowners seem to enjoy taking pride in their property, so why shouldn’t squirrels also have a desire to show off their humble abodes?  Look how happy this squirrel is that I’m taking his picture sitting outside of his hollowed out “treehouse”  He probably thinks I’m going to feature it in Better Nests And Nuthouses magazine.  This scene is certainly quite inviting, and though he may want me to stay for a while as his guest, I honestly don’t think I would fit through the front door…

Does he do seasonal decorating around his door? That’s the real sign of someone who is house proud!

  4. That is a particularly attractive door. I’m pretty sure it look just like an illustration from Winnie El Pooba!

  5. Gotta watch out for that first step outside-it can be quite the tumble.🐿

  6. Love this guy (or girl) squirrel’s smile……pride of home ownership!
