Squirrels love to make their homes in the hollow parts of trees. They’re so much warmer and cozier and easier to maintain than a standard nest on a limb. Sometimes, those holes aren’t quite as large as they seem to be… or perhaps, one too many nuts were consumed on that day. Whatever the case, this squirrel is just a tad stuck trying to get inside its front door. Or maybe this is just another case of me catching a squirrel at just the right time to be able to tell a completely misleading story about him? Nope, I got a second photo of the squirrel still in that same position… still as stuck as ever.
He did eventually wedge himself through the hole. Rodents are pretty good at getting into tight places better than human who drive Volkswagens or wear skinny jeans…
Hello? Hello? Anyone?
Poor fella.
His friends totally will not use this opportunity to shave all the fur off his back end…
Bwa ha ha…
You’re going to help him out as soon as you’re done laughing, right?
Maybe…
Glad he was able to WEDGE himself in there!!
Pam
Now someone needs to come along and UNwedge him!
The other explanation is his nuts were too large. But you probably already thought of that…
😉
Ouch…. that one is very painful for me to process!
I weighed myself today. BIG mistake. Glad I don’t live in a hole in a tree.
I know. Last week, I just gave up on two old pairs of jeans that felt an awful lot like that small hole does. I think the world is shrinking..
Now I know what the DNA is for the Flying Walendas.
I’m not sure this squirrel would make a great circus performer. He’d be the one to get stuck in the cannon…
I’m not sure the Walendas hung around long either. 🤣
