#70 – What Are You Looking At?

Photo taken: July 25, 2013

So imagine you’re taking photos of the squirrels in your backyard from the bedroom window as I was one day… when all of a sudden there’s a loud rustling noise right above your head, and you look up and see you’re not the only voyeur that day.  The branch this rather rude looking squirrel was on was hanging no more than five feet from where I was… so even my camera with the shitty zoom I used back then could get a good closeup of his “Dafuq you looking at?” face.  This is one of my favorite squirrel faces I’ve captured.  I’m sorry for invading your privacy and exposing that you apparently like to chew on twigs.  Please don’t beat me up or throw nuts at me…

I fear you haven’t seen the last of him…

    • Possibly… though the lifespan of wild squirrels being what it is, and this picture being 5 years old… I’m gonna sleep a little better knowing he may not be around to stalk me anymore.

  3. Caught in mid-chew……probably in the throes of collecting little branches for his nest when THE HUMAN came along to disturb the process!

  4. Everytime I see a squirrel video, picture or anything I think of you! Lol!

  5. I may be wrong, but he seems to be positioning that twig for a dagger throw to your heart….

Cute. Twigs have never looked so tasty.

  7. Move along, nothing here for you to concern yourself with. 🐿
