Before there was Gypsy, before there was Sewie, there was the first cat who took a liking to me…. er, my generosity… and that was the calico I called Pretty Kitty. This was one of the first photos I took of her… begging through my screen door for more, or perhaps BETTER food than the dry stuff you see in the background. Sorry dear… you can give me the big, sad, lost kitten eyes all you want, but if you think I’m going to open a can of the good stuff……… oh, hold on. Let me get it…
who can resist this eyes? me not …
Of all the cats I’ve photographed, PK’s eyes always showed up the prettiest…
She must really be an Olivia.
LOL, what a Twist!
Omg. Let that poor girl in. My heart is melting!!
The outdoor cats always want to come inside…. until they see I have two cats of my own. Every visitor I’ve ever had has hated my cats with a passion. Jealousy, perhaps…
All the cats we’ve had were strays who wandered in. And the old ones always hated the new ones… it’s a territorial thing. But given enough time they come around.
😊
Yeah, my problem is the complete opposite with the newbs detesting the residents. When it becomes clear I have no intention of ridding myself of Ody and Biskit, they usually see themselves out.
We all know you’re just a big softie.
Just like the Pillsbury Dough Boy…
Poppin’ fresh baby!
ody N biscuit….yea….yur dad total lee rocks !! 🙂 ♥♥
Aww, those eyes just break your heart!
Yes. This photo always reminded me of the Puss in Boots scene from Shrek…
If I could bottle that look, I could have… well, all the cat food I could ever want.
Yummy! Oh wait… they don’t make pizza and chileh flavored cat food….
Well, there’s a niche in the market worth exploiting…
She really has that “poor pitiful me” thing down doesn’t she……AND IT WORKED TOO!
Pam
Gosh…what an adorably precious face!
I have vowed that Trouble is our last cat ever. But if those eyes were peeking in my door, I would go back on that promise in a heartbeat!
