#57 – Night Vision

Photo taken: April 2, 2012

All visitors to my yard, day or night, are subject to being photographed at the whim of Evil Squirrel’s Nest management.  This white cat, who may be the one that still lives up the street, got caught on candid camera one night loitering in my front yard and got flashed by the resident picture taker.  Unlike my cats who shoot green lasers, our lighter colored intruder here emits a bright yellow glow that almost blends in with its coat.  Those are some fully charged headlights that can see for miles and miles…

  4. Holy Hell, that cat could power my whole town.

  5. I’ve never seen golden radar eyes on a cat that wasn’t wandering about some nuclear power plant. Nice capture. I hope you decontaminated after photographing. You can never be too sure, right?

  8. Their eyes are so reflective, they seem to emit light at night. it’s very weird. But i’ve seen a wildcat hunting in my backyard and I swear it looked like he had headlights for eyes.
