Who doesn’t love to look out and see a winter wonderland on Christmas morning? Well, along with the remnants of a small dusting of snow that fell on Christmas Eve last year, there was also the icicles that formed from the snow melting and refreezing. This lovely ice sculpture was formed by water dripping down a strand of Christmas lights attached to the side of my neighbor’s house, as you can see in this companion photo…
Plenty of icy fun for the children! Just make sure not to touch the yellow ice…
wow that’s the stage for the Let it Go song ;O)
Yes, only Else got conked on the head by falling ice and couldn’t finish the performance…
Brrrrr…..just seeing the ice gives me chills! We expect some snow tomorrow…..yuck.

We’ve already had two snows this week with a (predicted) decent accumulating snow tonight! November is picking up where April left off…
“you’ll put your eye out!”
Don’t look up at the icicles…
I love ice… so pretty when the sun hits it.
I will never forget how amazing it looked outside the morning after a massive ice storm we had back in 2006. So terribly destructive (We were one of the few lucky ones in the area that never lost power), but so incredibly beautiful as well…
Ice storms are beautifully destructive…
We don’t really get stuff like that around here. I guess it doesn’t stay cold enough for long enough.
