#43 – Don’t Choke

Photo taken: December 14, 2009

Unless you were blessed/deprived by being an only child, you probably had that one sibling that always got on your nerves.  Ody sure has… being the more sane of my original pair of kitties while having to tolerate his wild child of a brother Spilly.  Sometimes the more mature brother has to lay down the law and teach the imp a lesson that their antics are not appreciated in this here establishment.  And so…. we get this utterly adorable photo of Ody with his poor bro Spilly in a choke hold.  It’s possible Spilly may be hamming it up a bit with the tongue out, trying to coax me into chastising Ody… but it didn’t work this time.  You can pick your friends, but you can’t pick your family…

oops, yep, i’ve been there )

Meanwhile Ody is the very picture of innocence, staring off into the distance…

  4. Omg… that’s perfect. We had litter mate cats years ago and they would do the same thing!

  5. That is a hilarious photo – caught at just the right time….it does look like Ody is doing a choke hold on his brother……and I do believe Spilly is trying out for an Oscar with that look on his face and his tongue hanging out. Well done Spilly.

    Pam and Teddy too

  6. When it was kids, unless someone was actually bleeding, I thought they were all liars 😀 As for the dogs, I’d like to blame it all on The Duke, but Bonnie starts it then pretends she had nothing to do with it and Gibbs is all work and no play. The bums. I had to buy them more food! I bought them food a mere three weeks ago. Why do they need to eat so much? All they do is loll on the furniture and bark. Sheesh!
