No matter how long you’ve been following The Nest, there isn’t a squirrel you’ve seen more often here than this fellow…. the Who Me? squirrel. It’s far from the best squirrel photo I’ve ever taken, but it’s the first one I ever took that I was overly pleased with. I just loved how he was looking directly at me inside my bedroom window, paw up to his chest with a puzzled look on his face like he was wondering if I’d just called his name. When it came time to create a logo for my then-relatively new Saturday Squirrel feature, there was absolutely no question who the face of my longest running weekly feature would be…
So if you didn’t know who that was you saw here every Saturday…. well, now you do!

Started putting out acorns from my supply – they are well-liked! Hopefully will keep them from the bird seed.
I guess it depends on which they like better! I found out the other day that they can carry a corn cob up the tree with them. So much for sharing…
