Cats are naturally curious and love to explore… and while curiosity has thankfully never killed one of my cats, it has gotten them in some awkward situations. Here, Biskit decided to check out what was in my empty laundry hamper and discovered that it was much easier to jump inside of it than it was to get back out. Of course, rather than giving him a hand, I had to go get the camera instead to capture his predicament for perpetuity… and as you can see, he doesn’t look too amused. At least, he does have the eye lasers on “stun”… though beyond that he does look like the typically emotionally void Biskit I’ve always known. He should just be thankful he didn’t suffocate in a huge pile of my dirty underwear…
I think the most of us would get a$$ kicks by PETA for using the cam first before we rescue our silly pets ;O) Happy Thanksgiving to you and the whole nest…
If PETA comes by my door, I’ll feed them to my squirrels. Yes, that laundry basket is so dangerous!
Cats & baskets. A match made in heaven!
I’m not sure Biskit feels like he’s in heaven right now…. but I think you’re close!
The more he looks like he’s going to shred you, the more inclined you are to leave him in there…
Or find the lid…
Uh oh.
He’s got that “I’m going to poop in his shoe” look in his eyes.
Biskit only revenge poops when I accidentally shut him in a room since he’s so stealthy I won’t see him sneak in and then I make sure all the doors are shut before leaving for work (otherwise Ody has a tendency of shutting them from the inside and trapping himself). I’ve thrown away some bedding due to that before…
They always look as if YOU are somehow responsible for their escapade off the reservation.
I bought the hamper, therefore, it MUST be my fault. Oh, and I didn’t put up a warning sticker…
I assume you slept with one eye open after this incident?????
Pam
Ha! Not unless he beat down the door to get at me. And I don’t think 10 pounds of skin, bone and fur could do that (Ody, on the other hand)….
