Much like children in a cafeteria line, squirrels aren’t always on their best behavior when there’s tasty chow involved. And there’s no adult monitor in the sciurine world to keep the peace, either. This guy’s just happily munching on some corn from my late, lamented feeder (Note the photo is from 2013)… while up above him, a latecomer to the mess hall is not happy that he didn’t hear the bugle and doesn’t seem to be in a mood to share the treats with his treemates. That is a look of envious disdain from on high if there ever was one. I’d be careful if I were the feasting squirrel below. There may be a Saturday Squirrel ambush brewing…
Have a great weekend everyone!
INCOMING!!
Eat quickly, little squirrel! You have but mere seconds…
Tick, tick, tick, conk!
I HATE waiting in lines too!
Pam
Especially when the squirrel in front of you has no intention of leaving any food for you!
That little fellow up above does look rather envious and unhappy!
