I an see two. One to the left of the fork and one in the mess on the bottom, with not much more but the ear visible.
The mess on the bottom is a nest… this is one of a handful of pictures I took of him dragging leaves up to his new construction. I’m pretty sure that “ear” sticking up is not a squirrel, but I can’t say that definitively…

I had to read the comments and then zoom in to spot the little fellow…
He’s much easier to spot if you click on the picture than click again to enlarge it. Of course, by the time you do all of that, he’s already run off somewhere else…

Their color blends in a lot better around trees than it would seem. Maybe they are just furry chameleons…
