How do you mellow out a squirrel? Why, you give him a toke of the good stuff, that’s how. This squirrel seems to have found himself a stash of….. well, weeds, if not THE weed. I mean, it looks a little like that certain plant that’s the sensation of the nation. I don’t think it would hurt any to try it, little guy.
Go on ahead, I won’t tell anyone! And I doubt any narcs read my blog….
No, no, no! You’re supposed to get the munchies AFTER you consume it!
Oh well, this week’s Saturday Squirrel knows how to just say no. And he’ll never have to worry about his tail hairs not being able to pass a random drug test…
Have a great weekend everyone!
Adorable photos. Real weed or not…
At least the squirrel is real…
Hey little guy – don’t bogart that weed – pass it on!!
Pam
I think squirrels bogart everything! I could just see the fights breaking out at these little “parties”…
Cuteness. Hope he had a good time of it.
He did have a good time, but he probably doesn’t remember it…
Great squirrel picks as usual.
Speaking of weed…I just saw a video of the new marajuana breathalyzer. Like the alcohol breathalyzer. Only 1 billion times more sensitive. Not cool.
Luckily, if the squirrels get near this kind of weed they would eat it not smoke it. Oh, and squirrels don’t normally drive cars.
So glad I quit the ganja!
Squirrels may not drive cars, but they still like to run in the roadways! I don’t know if a sober or stoned squirrel would have a better chance of avoiding getting run over, though…
It is so cute. It is eating those leaves looking familiar. Did you see this squiller after eating those leaves?
He was already acting weird even before I took those pictures. He grabbed a peanut out of my backyard and ran, in typical squirrel fits and spurts, across the ditch and into that yard with the weeds. Then he jumped up on the fence, jumped into a tree, and that was all I saw of him…
So he was having fun.
He’s so cute, I doubt anything will slow down a squirrel, not even the good stuff, lol.
I’m sure there’d be no shortage of squirrel volunteers for that experiment! Of course, the interesting side effect would be whether squirrels can get an even bigger case of the munchies than they already have!
He’s bright eyed and bushy tailed – very perky! 🙂
Yes he is!
Could that be some kind of poison ivy?? Eek!!
Beats me. I think that’s the same stuff that grows along the fence on my side of the ditch, and I’ve brushed across that enough that either it isn’t poison ivy or I’m not allergic to it…
He’s SO cute! That pose he’s doing in the first photo is the one the squirrels do right outside my slider as they look in wondering where the talking nut dispenser (me) is. I see it pretty much every day but I never get tired of seeing squirrels stand that way!
He does look hopeful that somebody is going to bring him some food… which is ironic since he had just taken food out of my yard before I took the picture! It would be so cute if my squirrels really did that, but on the other hand, I don’t think I’d want them beating on my windows and scaring my cats!
So cute – weeds of not. 😉
Weeds, like squirrels, are so misunderstood…
Love the top photo, with his little paws clutched to his chest!
He’s so modest trying to hide his parts…
Squeeeeee. That squirrel is just too precious.
Squeeeeeeerrel!
He looks like something out of Beatrix Potter—so cute!
