Photobucket apparently had an issue that’s kept me from accessing my archive for over a week now (Maybe they had a “plumbing issue too?)… so I had to choose this week’s Saturday Squirrel photo from what I had available on the computer, which is only back to October. Here’s one I would have eventually featured anyway… is that not THE classic squirrel pose? I love the perfect question mark shape his tail makes while he hunches forward and enjoys a tasty treat he found. The perfect cutie to start off what will hopefully be another great year of squirrel photos here at The Nest…
Have a great weekend everyone!
Perfect! The quintessential squirrel…
🐿
You have a great weekend too. 🙂
Thank you for the Saturday squirrel post Evil, those little guys are so cute to miss my routine of cappuccino and cute squirrel photos.
Wait…I thought a classic image was where the little bugger was either sticking his tongue out at you or flipping you off. 😈Hope you get your Photobucket issue resolved. Sounds like there’s a major conspiracy going on against you.
Not only a perfect squirrel pose but he looks like a perfectly healthy little guy with a full feathery (!) tail and no battle scars on his soft looking fur. Could be a centerfold!
Pam
A natural looking centerfold…. now there’s a concept!
Yeah well I hear squirrels RARELY spend their $ on “enhancements” unlike most centerfolds!
That is the quintessential squirrel. Thanks for sharing the photo, I, too, am looking forward to a year full of beautiful squirrel footage…
I hope to keep ’em coming. It sucks that I wasn’t able to take advantage of the unusually gorgeous weather we had over my short Christmas break, but hopefully I won’t have to wait until Spring to get another good day to take some more of these…
That is indeed exactly as you would expect a squirrel to look.
That’s what they want us to think they look like, so that when their world domination plan goes into effect, we won’t recognize them coming in their final forms…
Right, this squirrel is perfect.
Have a squirrerfull weekend.
Beautiful. Thanks for brightening up a cold winter weekend. Now I’m off to chase the squirrels out of my bird feeder (in the rain)
Aw, what a pretty squirrel! Now get your ass out of my feeder!!!
He couldn’t have posed better if he’d tried!
Not without hamming it up, anyway… which he might have done if he knew he was being photographed…
