I just told this squirrel that there are five Saturdays in this month. The expression on his face says it 
all. Even squirrels know that February is a short month… and this guy was definitely not around the last time there were five Saturday Squirrels in one February. Come to think of it… The Nest wasn’t around for that in 1992 either. Yes, it happens just once every 28 years. Enjoy your extra Saturday Squirrel this month, because you’ll have to wait until 2048 to catch another five-peat February…

Once upon a time, we had two people working at Mecca who were both born on Leap Day 1980. And then there’s the fact that four of the five of us who have survived on nights for 20 years have birthdays on the 13th of a month. I love neat calendar coincidences like that…

I’m as surprised as this squirrel to learn that there are five Saturdays this month. Sadly, I don’t look as cute as this squirrel when surprised. Or any other time, for that matter. But then there aren’t many creatures as cute as squirrels!
No, it’s very hard to out-cute a squirrel. Unicorns might have a chance… if I could ever find one.
