Wow. Those are some great action shots… wish I could leap like that!

  2. What a treat! It’s a real leap-fest!!

  3. The last one looked like he was just hovering, magically, lol. All of them were great shots of leaping squirrels Evil!

    • The last one is my favorite squirrel photo I’ve taken. The only real jump I ever got that had zero blur. Also, one of the first pictures I ever took with my then new camera. Not a coincidence, I’m sure, since I’ll bet I’ve knocked a few of the settings off by accident that I’d never figure out how to fix again!

Are Leaping Squirrels a sign of spring? I certainly hope so! Happy Leap Day!

    Neat!

Ah, I get it. Leap Day, 29 leaping squirrels…
I think number 6 has hit warp speed.

    Aren’t they graceful!

These are some fun leaping squirrels – and a nifty idea for leap day/year. 🙂

  9. I want to see a squirrel leapin’ about in the snow! It’s easy to take a leap on solid ground…gimme a snow squirrel.

  10. These are great! Happy
    Leap Day. 🙂

I can’t believe how many amazing leaping squirrel photos you have. You’ve really got a talent for capturing them mid leap. I just can’t get over #29!

    • That talent is just a lot of luck! If we weren’t in an age of digital film, I wouldn’t have any of these photos, because I’d waste so much real film trying to catch a jump!
