It’s that time of the week where The Nest goes dumpster diving for another cool image to get all creative over… a little exercise we call Random Image Inspiration! This week’s edition will be short and sweet, which you’ll no doubt appreciate. And as usual, it starts off with a quite peculiar set of numbers from our Randomator…
12, 100, 13, 9
The 12th post in my Reader was this one by Melanie
The 100th word in that post is “that”
The 13th word in that post is “Sunday”
Putting “that Sunday” into Google Images brought this up as the 9th result…
So what to do with an image of Dinah Washington? Well, the last two RII’s dealt with cosmetics, so let’s focus on a different fashion accessory this week…
MITZI: Mitzi, like, totally luvs wearing purty fur coats! Butsies….
SANTA: Merry Christmas! Here’s that possum fur coat you asked for. Unfortunately, there’s some assembly required….
MITZI: Mitzi, like, totally doesn’t want some poor widdow cwitter witter to have to suffer to keep Mitzi looking so fancy! So Mitzi prefers to, like, keep her fur coats all reals!!!
MITZI: Doesn’t Mitzi, like, look like the bomb twizzle wearing this pwetty kitty fur coat!?!? Come on, Pussy Wussy, it’s time for Mitzi to go totally work the pole down at da club again!
ODY: Do I really have to follow her around everywhere? This is cruel!
How is it cruel? You didn’t have to be slaughtered for your fur.
ODY: I have to follow a hot bimbocorn everywhere and you HAD MY NUTS CHOPPED OFF!!!!!!!!
Chopped nuts can be delicious. 😉
Depends on whether they were your nuts or not!
Well, I can see how one’s own chopped nuts could be a culinary catastrophe. 😉
we agree ody… chopped nuts make us nuts…
No more chopping nuts!
Is Mitzi trying to lead Ody astray?????? I hope Ody is current on his shots – hangin’ with Mitzi can be dangerous to anyone’s health……I bet that pole she dances on has germs even the CDC hasn’t heard of!
Yeah, Mitzi’s kind of a unicorn shaped Petri dish. Hopefully Ody remembers to disinfect his equipment every day…
i’m honored to have been the inspiration for this week’s Random Image I thingie….
As an odd (very odd indeed) side note – male animals can very rarely claim to their nuts chopped off now. They simply crush them (crush the spermatic cord in each testicle). Ziggy, who was happily sporting nuts when I acquired him, and who was unable to retain them via ‘the man and his rather idiotic laws’ (i.e. it was a condition of my ownership/adopter status to have Ziggy de-nutted), lost his when he was with me for about a month. Pudge had had his crushed at some former date and therefore didn’t require ‘nutting’. It sounds cruel and painful to me and Ziggy concurs. He eyed me very warily for a long time post nut crush. Any movement towards the rear part of his anatomy had him running away with fearful glances, and if trapped, nipping at the offender who dared broach a rear approach. Pudge merely smirked.
Crushed nuts…. excuse me while I curl up in the fetal position. Ouch! I’ve always felt bad that pets are expected to have their genitals mutilated (especially since we won’t do that to humans who need to have theirs either whacked off or filled with concrete)… but that’s the cruel world we live in.
What a treat and a surprise to have Ody pop up in a photo with Mitzi. He’s such a handsome kitty! Being neutered though, he’s likely to get annoyed with Mitzi’s hornyness pretty quickly. I remember our cat Smokey looking at our very in-heat, very horny cat Sassafras like, “what is wrong with you?”
It was fortunate that he was laying on the “stage” by me while I was mulling over the random image, since it gave me the idea of having him be Mitzi’s live fur coat… and that he didn’t try to run off when I set it up and got out the camera! I was surprised at how much Ody towers over Mitzi since Mitzi is huge herself and such a stage hog. My sister’s nickname of Puma for Ody is quite apt because he’s such a big cat!
I bet following Mitzi around for a day would be a real eye-opener…
Yes. Probably in a Mr. Fox eye opening kind of way…
Sorry Ody…Mitzi looks pretty stylin’ in black.
Perhaps I could find her a skunk stole…
