For those who may not be on good terms with the sciurine species I so adore…. consider this an olive branch.
For those of you who love squirrels for being the adorable little rascals they are… consider this week’s Saturday Squirrel to be your weekend eye candy.
And yes, in all of the pictures I took yesterday… I accidentally used the ® symbol instead of the © in my watermark. Oops…
Have a great weekend everyone!
many people have been newly entertained by them during this lockdown.
There’s a positive!
An amazing photo!
Thank you! I got a lot of pictures of him poking his head out with the plant clipping in his mouth, but this one was the best!
That… is a perfect squirrel pic!
I thought so too. It would have won a spot on my squirrel calendar last year…
Nothing like a good salad once in a while…..gotta have those greens!
Pam
The greens are popping up everywhere. I guess they’re a lot fresher than last autumn’s acorns…
Easier on the teeth too……….
Sweet little squirrel – Happy Saturday! 🙂
He was the only squirrel who would come out for me yesterday. But he wasn’t alone, and maybe I’ll show that picture next week!
Ohh definitely a cutie patootie for sure. 😎
And quite the charmer with his “bouquet”…
I’m in the latter group – a squirrel fan – big time. So cute. I’m a bit confused – what does “R” in a circle even mean?
Maybe I ate that unprocessed olive….
R in a circle is the registered trademark symbol. It’s what you’ll see after a brand name or trademarked logo. Circle-R is Alt+0174 on the keyboard, while Circle-C is Alt+0169, and I brain farted without catching my mistake until it was too late…
This guy is a cutie pie. Mugging for the camera. Destined for fame.
Yes, and he can grab attention without looking silly… like about every selfie ever.
Awwww, that is a gosh darn adorable photo! Although I wouldn’t think it was quite so cute if I saw it in my backyard and it was one of my newly planted veggies hanging out of its mouth. It’s nearly time to plant squash here and I still don’t know how I’m going to keep the little rascals from digging, gnawing and sampling everything into oblivion.
Yeah, it’s a good thing I don’t garden. I have no idea where this guy got that piece of flora hanging out of his mouth… but he brought it into my yard from near the ditch, and stood in several places on the tree with it hanging out of his mouth for about ten minutes. I have no idea what his intentions were! But….. I think you’ll see this guy again next week!
I look forward to seeing him again!
What a great photo. 🙂
Thanks! I knew this was a winner as soon as I took it.
Who knew squirrels could make Caprese salad? 😆
If squirrels know how to make salad, then that alone makes them smarter than me!
I love how he’s clinging onto the trunk with his little paw!
If he dropped the plant and clung to the tree with his little mouth, it would be more impressive…
