This week’s Saturday Squirrel photo is almost sickeningly cute. Yeah I know, a lot of squirrel pictures look cute…. but just look at that face! And his fur pops so much in this shot that you can almost feel how soft he must be! That kinda surprised and kinda timidly awkward pose… like I just suddenly interrupted what he was doing. And of course, that lovely field of weeds! Yes, I said lovely field of weeds! Those little white blooms scattered all about the background only help to pump this picture’s adorability meter into the red zone.
Two of man’s suburban “enemies” teaming up to make one amazing photo!
Enjoy the cuteness, and have a great weekend everyone!
He’s a cutie sitting in a field of clover – you can almost hear him singing while twirling in a circle like Julie Andrews in “Sound of Music” !!!! OK – maybe that’s taking it a little far but he does look like he’s waiting for the guy with the camera to toss him a peanut………
Pam
If I caught him imitating Julie Andrews, then it’s no wonder he looks a bit embarrassed! It’s not like I would have put the video all over the internet or something…..
It is sitting on his butt, so cute. His tiny hands, looking like he wants to ask something, your name maybe.
He is sitting on his butt! I didn’t notice that while I was admiring the cuteness. Good catch!
He’s almost too perfect. And ready for his close up as well…
😉
I’ve met a lot of squirrels ready for their close ups, but they’d prefer if I got those close ups while far away…
He does look like he’s about to breakout singing the Sound of Music, lol.
The things squirrels do when they don’t think anyone’s watching…
He looks like he’s getting ready to step on stage to start his comedy routine. “So a squirrel, a duck and frog walked into a bar…” Happy Saturday
All he needs is a glass of water on a stool…
Aww! ❤ I like the 'weeds' too, for the sake of the bees. They apparently love dandelions!
The bees like any flower that’s open and easy….
Yes, a lotta cute! 🙂 Happy weekend!
Thanks, and you too!
Hey, you disturbed him. He’s looking for a 4 leaf clover!
Tyebe
I turned him into a movie star…. he’s famous to the small handful of people who view my blog. How lucky can you get?
I am so enjoying the cuteness.
I’m enjoying it as well…. but the poor squirrel seems to be a bit unnerved by all the fawning over him.
Aw, he seems happy enough if a little startled.
Squirrels act like they’ve never seen a camera before…
Awww, that little guy is so cute! I need him to come here to teach my squirrels how to be cute. There is one that will occasionally hang in the tree outside my office window and stare at me with the most adorable inquisitive expression but the rest of them are just all business, no cuteness!
Uncute squirrels! Say it isn’t so! It’s probably a good thing there isn’t a good perch for them to gawk in my window… not that I would mind, but they’d see Uncle Snuggie leering at them and run away!
