Ah, the simple joys of being a squirrel.
Getting a primo perch to enjoy lunch.
Filling your fuzzy little belly full of yummy nourishment.
Repeat as necessary.
That is one happy Saturday Squirrel.
And he wishes everyone a great weekend!

If only we could all be as happy as a squirrel who’s found a nut….
😊
There are drugs for that, but taking them might make you grow a tail…
Seems like he’s been separated from his family ala classic ICE detention.
Enjoy your weekend 🙂
He’s handsome and happy. 🙂
Awwww……he does look content – hope he doesn’t try to get over/under that fence – looks like a road behind him! EEEEK!
Pam
Nah, that’s just the tennis courts. Worst that could happen is he gets lobbed out of bounds…
Today we had TWO squirrels sleeping on our railing. They eat, they yawn, they crash. So oddly human.
They may have bottomless pits, but even they get full sometimes and have to sleep it off…
He does look very content. Makes me wish I was a squirrel. It would be nice to just pluck food from the trees and have people leave piles of it around for me.
Being a squirrel would be cool, so long as you didn’t end up living near a trailer park. Then Cousin Joe Bob would be making that face over your stew…
Lol! True – there are some places where it would be bad to be a squirrel!
He does look content with his lot!
He look so happy, you’d think he found a pizza…
Ken just built this cute little wheelbarrow with a removable screen that we can put peanuts in for our little friends and take photos of them enjoying their treats. We discovered that we also have a chipmunk to add to the group!
YAY! Other than the occasional bunny, no other furry critters visit me during the day. Looking forward to squirrel and chipmunk photos in the future…
Why am I singing the song “hot squirrel in the city” now? lol
Because I am the earworm blog…
Ah, for the simple joy of sitting in the sun and having a snack😊
