It’s still cold, but the snow is slowly melting… and should be gone in a few days with a nice warm up coming this week. May as well join this week’s Saturday Squirrel watching the thaw from the balcony seats…
Oh, and might as well grab a treat while we watch the winter mess dissolve into a Spring mess…
Have a great weekend everyone!
I’ll take a Spring mess over a Winter mess any old day!

Mud wrestling is a lot more fun than snow wrestling…
We haven’t had much snow this winter, but mud season will still suck. Wish I could climb a tree to escape it…
We hadn’t had any snow either until this two weeks of polar crapola decided to pay a visit. You never know, mud season could get delayed until July…
Yes, being above the snow fray is a good thing. Happy weekend to you, too. 🙂
It’s probably warmer up there too!
Take care to avoid the mud. That stuff seems to stick to everything, and it’s damned hard to get out of the upholstery…. Happy Saturday Mr. Squirrel!!
It can’t be much harder to clean up than cat shit, and I’ve had plenty of experience with that…
Since Mr. Squirrel is living under my upper balcony, we had to shovel today because the accumulation was about 4 feet deep and we’re due for a thaw–didn’t want him to drown!
That is so kind of you! Most people would love to throw their neighborhood squirrel into the deep end…
Squirrels are lucky, being able to get off the frozen ground and watch everyone slipping and sliding around down below.
While throwing things at them…. it’s why I admire squirrels so much.
A small snow storm blew through here last night so it may head your way. Loads of fat, fluffy wet flakes. Quite beautiful and the kind that should melt relatively quick with the accompanying warmer temps.
Nah, it’s gonna be too warm this week. 60’s tomorrow and 50’s the rest of the week! It’s probably gonna take all of that to melt Mt. Everest at the curb that I’ve already backed into once leaving the driveway…
