I had a (pretty lame) idea for the CoW that required a trip to the craft store. Then the contest floated out of my aging brain and I’ve been wandering around for several weeks, trying to remember why I needed to go to the craft store. I finally remembered this morning and was so glad there are still a few days left! I decided to skip the craft store and go the MacGiver route. The trap is laid, the camera is charging and now I’m just waiting for my prey…. Hopefully they haven’t been carried away by a bunch of horny ponies like Shadow!
Sorry for giggling at the image of knowing you wanted to go to the craft store, but not remembering why. I was hoping you hadn’t completely forgotten, because even the ones you throw together at the last minute are good!
Hopefully I can gather some other images to make you giggle! I had a lot of fun working on my little project this afternoon. I giggled a few times while working on it just because of the look on my dog’s faces. They were so clearly thinking, “in the hell is she doing?”
I agree with you, blogging ain’t what it used to be. Back in the early days, we had a good time.
Yeah, the whole reason I started the CoW was because I’d won so many contests on other blogs. I can’t remember the last time someone I followed held a blog contest. I’m like a relic from the Stone Age still running this… but that’s me, old fashioned and shit!
Well, I’m also a relic myself and as long as I’m still here on WordPress, with a mostly sane mind, I’ll submit an entry!
